Video, cinema, film – however you want to call it – is a sequence of photographic images that produces the effect of motion. From this effect and thanks to our brain’s ability to stitch those images together, were able to capture moments in motion, recreating reality through a screen.
I’ve primarily found an affinity with motion picture film, digital, and mixed media animation, for the raw grit & errors that it can visually produce. I’ve worked on a number of small film sets, but have recently began making films myself with local Kansas City creatives, such as director and writer Vladimir Vargas.
